Mr. Ramon A. Funes, Age 61, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday Evening, September 11, 2020 at the local Hospital. He was born June 14, 1959 in El Salvador, a son of the late Jose Nicolas Joya and Ana Vicenta Funes.

He is survived by his wife, Olga de Jesus Perez de Funes; sons and daughters-in-law, Astul Ernesto and Damaris Funes, Edwin Alaxander and Kelly Funes, Kelvin Francisco and Maria Funes; brothers, Jose Salvador Funes, Carlos Alberto Funes, Jose Ricardo Funes; grandchildren, Arianna N. Funez, Anabella Funes, Alejandro Funes, Alexa Funes, Daniela Funes; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday September 15, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. At his request he will be cremated and his remains will be sent back to El Salvador to be buried with his family.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
