Mr. Ralph L. Peden, age 87, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, November 18, 2022 at his home.  Ralph was born June 11, 1935 in Whitfield County, Georgia.   He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Peden and a sister, Betty Bookout.

Ralph was an auto body repairman by trade and was retired from Whitfield County School System where he was a special education bus driver.

He is survived by his companion of fifty-two years, Shirley Moss of Dalton, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Lisa Peden, Troy and Gail Peden all of Chatsworth, GA; nieces, Pam Massingill and Genea Massingill; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum with his grandson, Jared Peden officiating and eulogy giving by Pam Massingill.  Close friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
