Mr. Ralph "Doug" Morgan, age 43, of Dalton, departed this life, Wednesday February 23, 2022 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his brother Jonathon Morgan. Doug was born June 12, 1978 & attended Southeast High School. Doug was a loving husband, father, son, & brother. He was a die hard Tennessee fan.  Doug made many friends over the years through his work at Beaulieu, Engineered Floors, & also years of coaching baseball through the rec. To know Doug was to love him. He was such an outgoing, caring, hardworking man that touched so many over the years. He was so full of life & made everyone laugh. He always made life so fun for all those that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Alicia Morgan of the residence; sons, Daniel Morgan and Alli Vick, Peyton Morgan of Dalton, GA; parents, Daniel and Omie Morgan of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Ida Richards of Cohutta, GA; nephew, Gage Richards, niece, Leighann Atwood; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Glenda Hoven of Dalton, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ralph "Doug" Morgan will be held Thursday March 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Daniel Garland and Blue Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 on Wednesday.
