Mr. Ralph Grooms, age 70, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, March 18, 2018. He was born September 21, 1947 in Murray County, GA, a son of the late Marvin and Nina Howard Grooms. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Thurman, Dewey, Carl and Lonnie Grooms, sister, Jeanette Beavers.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Melissa Grooms of Chatsworth, GA, Curtis Grooms of Wellsville, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Cary Hanson of Rocky Face, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mack and Wanda Grooms of Chatsworth, GA, Jack and Satch Grooms of Dalton, GA; special nephews, Marvin Grooms and Billy Grooms of Dalton, GA; 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, special pet Mazy.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ralph Grooms will be held Saturday March 24, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. from Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Grooms, Billy Grooms, Dylan Grooms, Tyler Grooms, Cory Grooms and Jack Grooms.
