Ms. Rachel Elaine Patterson Dorr, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, July 15, 2022 at her home.

Rachel was born December 15, 1952 in Cedartown, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Fair Porter Graham.

Rachel is survived by her companion/husband, Darrell Dorr of the residence; step-son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Amanda Dorr of Etowah, TN; and although Rachel had no natural children of her own, she thought of Taylor Willis as her own daughter; several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Rachel Elaine Patterson Dorr will be held Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jerry Hewatt officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her mother at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Cleburne County, Alabama, at 4:00 p.m. (CST).

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the service hour.
