Mrs. Rachel Maxine Susie Brackett, age 63, of Dalton, GA, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, November 25, 2016. Rachael was born December 28, 1952 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Luke Flowers and Jewel Crawford. She was also preceded at death by her husband, Jerald Brackett.

Susie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sabrina Brackett of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and David Bean of Calhoun, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Joyce Flowers; sisters and brother-in-law, Georgia and Rodney Harkins, Brenda Couch all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Hunter Thomason, Autum Padgett, Kelsey Brackett, Isaiah Bean, Samuel Brackett, Sawyer Brackett; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. SusieBrackett will be held Monday November 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Junior Clayton and Reverend Tony Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park with David Bean, Jason Harkins, Rodney Harkins, JD Head, Edward Padgett and Jeremy Williams serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Emory, Erlanger and Hamilton hospital. Also a special thanks to Dalton Family Practice and Amedisys Hospice.
