Mrs. Phyllis "Mom" McMillan, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, July 4, 2019 at the local hospital. She was born October 21, 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Henry and Cornella Couch Morris, sisters, Alberta Couch, Deborah Couch.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce McMillan of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Angel Forbes, Chrystal Rose, Crystal and Mike Mclarney of Dalton, GA, Nina and Zach Wimpey of Tunnel Hill, GA, Robin Maly of Dalton, GA, Tisha McMillan Pack of Cohutta, GA; brother, Ricky Henry of Tennessee; grandchildren, Starr Dixon, Charles Thomason, James and Angelica Thomason, Zackery Thomas, Bobby Forbes and Katie Costner, Nickolas Forbes, Taylor Wimpey, Caitlyn Smith, Jasmine Smith, Jordan Maly, Jayden Peavy, Devon Pack, Levi Sandoval; great grandchild, Kayden; special friends, Diane Manuel, Wendy Roberts Queen, her little sunshine, Lyrical Queen Bombita; several other special family and friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Phyllis "Mom" McMillan will be held Monday July 8, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Melvin Burson, Charles Franklin and Tommy Reed officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help with expenses.
