Ms. Phyllis Thomas Feild, age 60, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Friday, September 23, 2016 and crossed into her heavenly home. Phyllis was born December 9, 1955 in Dalton, GA the daughter of the late Herman Edward Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her brother Michael Thomas. Phyllis was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Ms. Phyllis Thomas Feild is survived by her loving family, daughter Missy Chapman of Dalton, GA, mother Clara Thomas, step-daughter, Ashley and Kevin Chitwood; brother, Lamar and Martha Thomas of Rocky Face, GA; sister, Anita and Danny Goswick of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Jackson and Christan Peden, Darbey Peden; great-grandchild, Chloe Peden; nieces and nephews, Stacey and Michael Smith, Greg and April Thomas, Andrea and Chad Rhodes, Tanner and Stacy Thomas and Tyler and Ashely Thomas, also great nieces, nephews and many friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Phyllis Thomas Feild will be held, Monday, September 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Rev. Donald Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, with Danny Goswick, Chad Rhodes, Bruce Jordan, Jackson Peden and Michael Smith serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel, Sunday September 25, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
