Mrs. Phyllis Ann Franks Beason, age 76, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Evergreen Health & Rehab Center in Rome, Georgia.

Phyllis was born on December 02, 1948, in Calhoun, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Beason; her parents, Robert and Flora Faye Burns Franks; her son, Scott Waters; and her sister, Sandra Carol Carter.

Phyllis loved crafts and enjoyed sharing her creativity with others.

She is survived by her son, Cain and his wife Mandy Allen of Calhoun, GA; her sister, Loneida and her husband Garry Freese of Kodak, TN; her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Liz) Waters of Tunnel Hill, GA; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, with Larry Lee a family friend officiating at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
