Mr. Philip Joseph Canales, age 44, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born September 11, 1976 in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA a son of the late Edward and Margarita Canales Burnecke. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Timoteo Tim Canales.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Canales of the residence; sons, Joseph Canales, Aaron Canales of Tunnel Hill, GA; daughter, Trinity Canales of Ringgold, GA; step-mother, Kathy Plemons; grandmother, Frances Canales of Ringgold, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Burnecke and Lisa Standridge, Justin and Jessica Keener of Tunnel Hill, GA, Dale and Krystle Keener of Rocky Face, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Angel and Joe Presley of Tunnel Hill, GA, Crystal and Travis Cash of Rocky Face, GA; sister-in-law, Carol and Josh Miller of Lafayette, GA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Philip Joseph Canales will be held Saturday November 21, 2020 at 1145 Mt. Vernon Rd. Tunnel Hill GA 30755 at 3:00 p.m.
