Mrs. Penny Sue Stinson Jones age 60 of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence. Penny was born October 19, 1952 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Harlin Wesley Stinson and Betty Lynn Manis Stinson. .

She is survived by her husband; James R. { Jim } Jones of Resaca, GA; brothers and sister-in-law: Robert and Martha Stinson and James Stinson all of Dalton, Georgia; Sisters and brothers-in-law: Connie McMahon of Dalton, Georgia; Tona and Bob Rivers of Dalton, Georgia; Peggy and Ike Eisenzimmer of Anderson, South Carolina. Special Friend: Sam Lake of Dunwoody, Georgia. Several Nieces and nephews and her beloved cats also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Penny Sue Stinson Jones will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Wayne Cofield officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Chandler Cemetery in Gordon County with Brad Petty, Chris Petty, Jeff McMahon, Ryan Stinson, Wes Stinson and Brian Rivers serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
