Mrs. Peggy Ann Hasty Moore, age 83, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Thursday afternoon surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born September 13, 1938 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Eugene and Eva Morgan Hasty Barnett. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Vernon Curtis Moore; step-father, Voyd "Lefty" Barnett; brother-in-law and sisters-in law, Dot Moore, Norma Bird, Louise and Jim Moore and Betty and Virgil Moore.

Peggy was a 1956 graduate of Westside High School. Peggy was a lifelong member of Fairview Baptist Church which she loved dearly. She was a very active member, playing the piano, singing and supporting her Pastor Cliff Chambers.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Lisa and Greg Bonifacious of Rocky Face, Georgia, grandchildren, Grace Nichole Moore and Shane Bonifacious. She is also survived by her special friends, Pastor Cliff Chambers, Carol and Carrie Chambers and family and all her church family and several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Peggy Ann Hasty Moore will be held, Sunday February 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Cliff Chambers officiating. Burial will take place at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Tony Bearden, Matt Bearden, Hunter Gazaway, Kenny Stokes, Fred Morgan, and Robby Chappell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Shane Bonifacious, Caleb Chambers and Cameron Chambers, Christian Chambers and Emily Chambers.

The family will receive friends, Saturday February 5, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel and Sunday February 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour of 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Fairview Baptist Church Rocky Face, Georgia.
