Mrs. Peggy Ann Ellis, age 77, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Thursday evening, November 14, 2019 at the local hospital. She was born March 14, 1942 in Chatsworth, GA a daughter of the late William Earl and Ruby Lee Ponders Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Trammell Ellis, brothers, Hammie Rogers, Joe Rogers, David Rogers, Roy Rogers, William Rogers, sister, Sue Redwine.

She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Ellis of Rocky Face, GA; grandson, Ryan West of Chattanooga, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Angela Rogers, Johnny and Cricket Rogers of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Pat and Carl Shepard of Chatsworth, GA, Louise Dutton of Dalton, GA, Paula Owens, Jenevelyn Avirett of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Ponders Melrose Chapel on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
