Mr. Paul Eugene Williams Sr., age 76, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, June 1, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 2, 1948 in Dora, Alabama, a son of the late Earl Clayton and Ethel Irene Williams. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Jerry Earl Williams, Buddy Williams, Lou Allen, Helen Richy, Margart Amos, Gatha Kilpatrick, Gail Gaddis, Susie Maglaugh.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy "Dot" Williams of the residence; sons, Paul Eugene "Buddy" Williams II, Earl Lee Williams of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Andrew Lee Williams, Emilee Marie Williams; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Paul Eugene Williams Sr. will be held Thursday June 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Shane Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park with Paul Williams II, Earl Williams, Andrew Williams, Josh Slaton, Roy Gaddis and Greg Wright serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
