Mr. Paul Davis, age 68, of Chatsworth, Georgia, formerly of Rocky Face, Ga. departed this life Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at his residence. Paul was born July 25, 1946 in Walker County, Ga. a son of the late Floyd T. and Mary Dell Davis. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Eugene Thomas Davis, J.C. Davis, and Warren David Davis.

He is survived by his wife Peggy LaVerne Davis of Chatsworth, GA, sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Paul and Allison Davis, Bob and Dawn Akins, Keith and Donna Akins, Johnny and Sandra Akins, daughters; Sandra Akins, special daughter, Sherry Angel; sisters and brother-in-law, Montyne and Eugene Bearden, Bettye Coleman; special brother Pete Padgett; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Paul Davis will be held

Friday, October 3, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. from the Melrose Chapel with Reverend Dallas Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
