Mr. Paul Keith Brock, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at home, lovingly surrounded by his devoted family. Born on November 7, 1944, in Dalton, Paul was the beloved son of the late Roscoe and Emma Mae Keith Brock. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, J.W. and Nellie Brock, Clinton and Edna Brock, and Betty Sue Brock, as well as sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosa and Ralph Callahan, Evelyn and Milburn Bell, Lela Mae Brock, J.L. Ashe, Bill Bates, and Herbert Woodall.

Paul spent many dedicated years with his family at B & B Fringe Company, where he was a co-owner, building a legacy of hard work and community. His faith was a cornerstone of his life; he was a long-standing member of New Zion Hill Baptist Church, where his gentle and caring nature was felt by all who knew him.

Paul's towering presence and kind heart earned him the title of a "gentle giant." Known for his unwavering love for his family, he leaves behind his wife of nearly 54 years, Evelyn Cook Brock, with whom he shared a lifetime of joy and dedication. Together, they would have celebrated their fifty-fourth wedding anniversary on November 20, 2024. Paul is also survived by his cherished daughters, Angela (Benjamin) Taylor of Rocky Face, GA, and Kristy (Timothy) Casson of Chatsworth, GA. He was a proud grandfather to Kathleen (Brian) Roberts, Paul (Megan) Sampson, Mark (Katrina) Parsons, Makisha Newell (Joel Davis), Austin (Ashley) Taylor, Jordan Newell (Kaela Schmidt), Aaron Taylor (Destiny Edwards), and Will Taylor, and a great-grandfather to thirty-eight adoring great-grandchildren. Paul's siblings, Reverend Marvin Brock of Dalton, GA, Mertice Bates Woodall of Dalton, GA, and Patsy Ashe of Chatsworth, GA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, will miss his presence and the love he shared with them all.

A celebration of Mr. Paul Keith Brock's life will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at New Zion Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Patterson officiating. The service will feature music by Lisa McGill, Mark Parsons, and Kasey Mulkey, paying homage to Paul's spirit. Following the service, Paul will be laid to rest in the church cemetery, with pallbearers Paul Sampson, Jordan Newell, Aaron Taylor, Mark Parsons, Austin Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, Timothy Casson, and Brian Roberts honoring his memory.

Family and friends may pay their respects at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Thursday morning after 10:00 a.m. until the service hour. Paul Keith Brock's legacy of love, kindness, and gentle strength will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
