Mr. Paul Edward "Eddie" Green, age 65, of the Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the local hospital. Eddie was born November 2, 1948 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father Buddy Green, great grandson, Mason.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Isnez Green of Ringgold, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Delia Meroney of Cleveland, TN, Deedra and Tony Lundy of Newport, TN, Debra and Paul Ingraham of Sevierville, TN; special friend, Jeamita Winters of Varnell, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Melissa Green of Cohutta, GA, Danny and Heather Green of Dalton, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and JE Smith of Dalton, GA, Margaret Bates of Calhoun, GA, Donna Brown of Cohutta, GA, Norma Shelton and Donnie Mulkey of Calhoun, GA, Sally Stanley of Villanow, GA; grandchildren, Samantha, Shelia, Kara, Thad, Christian, Gabriel, Patrick, and Jesse; great grandchildren, Marcus and Maverick; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mr. Paul Edward "Eddie" Green will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Cohutta, GA with Brother Larry Hibbert officiating.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
