Mrs. Patsy Ruth Wilson Fitz, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her residence. She was born February 21, 1937 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late William and Pearl Byers Raper. She was also preceded in death by her husband JW Wilson, son Robert Wilson, brother Wade Raper, sisters, Evelyn Wells, Betty Raper.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace Fitz of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Gail Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Ricky Hicks of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Cheryl Raper of Chatsworth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Gary Crisp of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law and husband, Linda and Gerald Risner; grandchildren, Shane Wilson, Kevin and Amber Hicks, Brian and Lisa Hicks; great grandchildren, Tucker, Alexis, Natalie; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Patsy will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel. She will be laid to rest at West Hill Cemetery.
