Ms. Patsy Joann Stephens , age 57 of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, March 24, 2022, at Advent Health Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Georgia.  Patsy was born August 3, 1964, in Prince Fredrick, Maryland.  She was a 1982 graduate of Springbrook High School in Colesville, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Davis, her mother, Louise McCarson Davis, her stepfather, Ray Davis, stepfather, Franklin Dennis, brother, Jeffrey Vinson Biggs and a brother-in-law, Michael Heath.

Patsy is survived by her companion of twenty-eight years, Dewayne Massengill of the residence; father, Paul Stephens, Sr. of Chesapeake Beach, MD; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert "Rob" and Tracey Madonti of Martinsburg, WV, Joey Davis of North Carolina, Brian Madonti of Martinsburg, WV; stepdaughter, Kindra Massengill; step-son, Brandon Massengill both of Shannon, GA; sister, Robin Burr of LaFayette, LA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul Stephens, Jr. of Resaca, GA, Jimmy D. and Tonya Webster, FL, and Brenda Biggs of Seffner, FL; aunts and uncles, Marie and Jimmy Harrington of Frankford, DE, Sandra and William Stephens of Lusby, MD; step-mother, Janice Dennis of Arkansas; father-in-law, Larry McCarter of Resaca, GA; brother-in-law, David Massengill of Adairsville, GA; sister-in-law, Addie Heath of Calhoun, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Patsy Joann Stephens will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 12:00 o'clock p.m. Noon with Brother Denny Smith officiating, at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.  She will be laid to rest at the West Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Josh Massengill, Jordan Massengill, David Massengill, Paul Stephens, Jr., are honored to serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
