Mrs. Pasty Caldwell Baker, age 80, of Panama City, Florida, and formally of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life, Wednesday March 29, 2017 peacefully at her home. Patsy was born August 27, 1936 in Resaca, Georgia, a daughter to the late Roy and Myrtle Caldwell of Resaca. She was also preceded in death by her late husband David "Hook" Baker, sisters; Kathrine Meadows, Ruth Roberts, Retha Farmer, Mickie Adams and a brother; JC Caldwell, mother and father in-law; Oscar and Alice Baker.
Patsy loved spending time with all her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her late husband David Baker owned and operated Baker's Service Station and Wrecker Service in Calhoun, Georgia, for over 50 years.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law; Debbie Hyde, Reba and Ron Hanson; grandchildren, Pepper and Hubert Pascal, Pipper Telker and Tarqi, Heath and Amanda Hyde; great grandchildren, Seth and Labin Hyde, Bella and Lily Telker, all residents of Panama City, Florida. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Patsy Baker will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 1, 2017 at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend Mitch Phillips officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning, April 1, 2017 after 10:00AM until the service hour.
