Mr. Patrick Donald "Donny" Sloan, age 48 of Crandall, Georgia, departed this life, Wednesday September 2, 2020 at his home. He was born October 12, 1971 in Dalton, GA. He was also preceded in death by his mother Henda Moreland Sloan, brother, Ricky Sloan. Father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald D. and Shirley Williams. Uncles Michael Moreland, Thomas Sloan. Uncle's-in-law, David Lewis, Jimmy Lewis, Herschel Chapman, J.L. Tillman, Robert Tillman, Aunt-in-law, Queen Simonds. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Chatsworth, GA. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He was a 1990 graduate of Northwest High School. He was employed at Shaw Industries since May of 1991.

He is survived by his wife, Marlo L. Lewis of Chatsworth, GA; mother-in-law, Lillie A. Henson of Cartersville, GA; brother-in-law, John Daniel Brockman; Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Heath and Tiffany Lewis-Lee of Cedartown, GA; Justin and Whitney Tarvin of Chatsworth, GA; nieces and nephews, James Austin Sloan, Amy Nicole Sloan, Abigail Ragan Lee, Avery Reese Lee, Allie Ryan Lee, William Walker Tarvin, Blaine Donnie Tarvin; grandchildren, Haleigh Simmons, Summer Simmons, Janzen Leamon, Jaylen Leamon, Mossie Davenport, Violet Ellison. Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Patrick Donald "Donny" Sloan will be held Monday September 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Brian Branam and Dr. Danny Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Robbie Leamon, II, Austin Sloan, Shane Sloan, Heath Lee, Nick Voyles, and David Smith serving as pallbearers.
