Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Black Womack, 81, of Dalton, GA, departed this life on Saturday afternoon, May 5, 2018 at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN.

Mrs. Womack was born in Dalton on October 4, 1936, a daughter of the late Edgar and Edith Black.  She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Franklin D. Womack who passed away on May 6, 2001; sisters, Joyce Yother and Helen Weaver; brothers, Gary "Sonny" Black, and Eddie Black.

She was a long time member of Grove Level Baptist Church.

Mrs. Womack is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Raus Cohran of Dalton, GA, Cindy and Richard Nava of Cordova, TN; son, Franklin D Womack II and his wife Kimberly of Macungie, PA; a sister, Edwina Ward of Calhoun, GA; five granddaughters; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family members, and her church family also survive.

A family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Chattanooga National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.

The family of Mrs. Womack will receive friends on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 between the hours of 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
