Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Waters Miolen, age 71, of Camelot Circle, Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life early Friday morning, September 11, 2020 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Miolen was born in Ringgold, Georgia on Independence Day, July 4, in 1949. She was the only child born to her late parents, Lester E. and Bonnie B. Flowers Waters. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of nearly forty years who passed away on December 12, 2009, Larry Lamar Miolen.
She had lived in Calhoun area for over thirty-eight years and was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church in Calhoun. Mrs. Miolen was retired from Mohawk Industries where she had worked for over fifteen years as a credit analyst.
Mrs. Miolen is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Tracie Miolen-Silvers and Ashley Silvers of Calhoun, Michelle and Ken Anderson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ashton Silvers, Oz Silvers, and Ryan Talley all of Calhoun, Brandi and Timothy Smith of Adairsville, Brittany Anderson, Skyler and Hayley Anderson all of Chattanooga; several great-grandchildren also survive.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Pat Miolen will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. in Ponders Calhoun Chapel. Brother Clyde McEntyre will officiate. Entombment will follow at Haven of Rest Memorial Park where Mrs. Miolen will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband. Ashley Silvers, Ashton Silvers, Oz Silvers, Timothy Smith, John Currence, and Skyler Anderson will all be honored to serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Miolen's family will receive friends on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 11:30 A.M. until the 1:30 P.M. service hour at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must always be worn properly inside the funeral home and social distancing must be observed.
