Mrs. Patricia Burchfield, age 71 of Dalton, Georgia, passed away August 19, 2014 at her residence. Patricia was born June 8, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Howard and Marion Doughtry.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Patty Burchfield, Brad and Amy Burchfield; daughter, Vilinda West all of Dalton, GA; brother, Howard Francis Doughtry of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Josh, Lesley, Luke and Jake one great grandson, Isaiah.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Patricia Burchfield will be held Saturday August 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor J.T. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Burchfield Family Cemetery with Jason Burchfield, Brad Burchfield, Josh West and Shane Evans serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
