Mr. Oscar David "Trey" Hixon III, age 29, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, March 12, 2023 in Dalton, Georgia.

Trey was born December 2, 1993, in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Virginia Goodson, Karen Hixon.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Cline Hixon of Dalton, GA; father Oscar David Hixon Jr. of Soddy-Daisy, TN; grandfather, Oscar David Hixon, Sr. of Gastonia, NC; sisters, Elizabeth Cline, Hallie Cline of Dalton, GA, Kerri and Jonathan Tomlin of Villanow, GA; nieces and nephews, Dixie Fugate, Wesley Cline, Waylon Cline, Tucker Cline, Wolfgang Tomlin, Levi Tomlin; cousins, Laura Brown, Mikey Turner; many, many friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Oscar "Trey" David Hixon III will be held Monday March 20, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Noon, from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Tom Mosley officiating. He will be laid to rest with his family at Concord Cemetery, in Walker County, Georgia, with Garrett Bivens, Gunner Sutton, Johnny Wright, Chris Burns, Nick Burns and Frankie Ward serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
