Mrs. Ora Mary Corn, age 95 of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, May 23, 2017 at her residence. Ora was born October 3, 1921 in Chatsworth, Georgia, a daughter of the late Sam and Minnie Noland Junkins. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Dave L. Corn, sons, Raymond Corn, George Corn, Bobby Corn, daughter, Sue Cowart, brothers, Roy, Sam, George and William Junkkins, sisters, Bertie Sue Cox, Jessie Blankenship, Dimple Moss.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Rena Corn of Ranger, GA, Roy and Linda Corn of Michigan; daughter, Ruth Corn of Ranger, GA; sister, Bonnie Hibbert of Oakman, GA; special niece, Alma Baker of Calhoun, GA, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ora Mary Corn will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church, Oakman, Georgia, with Reverend Tim Cheathem officiating. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery with Chase Goff, Cary Ridley, Michael Cowart, Jacob Collins, Kyle Corn and Charles Crawley serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Fairmount Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help with expenses.
