Mrs. Oma L. Talley, age 95, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Quinton Memorial Health Care Center. Oma was born April 1, 1919 in Gordon County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Luther and Zola Durham Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elroy Talley, son, Brannon Talley, sister, Edna Jenkins, brothers, Buren Stone, Vester Stone, Ted Stone, Doyle Stone, Bill Stone, Leonard Stone. She was a member of the Hill City Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Helen Talley of Calhoun, GA, Blaine and Donna Talley of Resaca, GA; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Oma L. Talley will be held Thursday August 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the Hill City Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy Jenkins officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the church cemetery with Jonathan Talley, Casey Talley, B.J. Talley, Bill Talley, Matthew Stanfield Keith Durham serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
