Mrs. Olivia Defoor Stafford, age 76, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at AdventHealth Redmond. She was born September 21, 1948 in Calhoun, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother Lillie Mae Defoor, sisters Peggy Sue Smith, Teresa Balliew, son-in-law Ronald Roberson. She was a member of Crane Eater Community Church for 40 years.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Grady Stafford of the residence; sisters, Electra Silvers of Calhoun, GA, Cathy Childress of Dalton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Michelle Stafford of Resaca, GA; daughter, Tina Mathis of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Brandon and Teysha Stafford of Chatsworth, GA, Cody Mathis of Dalton, GA, Heather Stafford and Garrett Stout, Hailey Stafford McAllister of Resaca, GA, Christle Chapman, Adam Burns, Austin Roberson of Calhoun, GA; 13 great grandchildren, several other family and friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Olivia Defoor Stafford will be held Sunday December 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Reverend Paul Gay officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
