Obituary

Mrs. Norma Glenda Williams, age 81, of the Reo Community, Walker County, and Georgia, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, July 28, 2020 at the local hospital. Norma was born March 8, 1939 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Luther "Luke" and Lady Lethcoe.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Andy Williams and a son, Clovis Carl Williams, a daughter, Madine Everett, grandsons, Davy Pack and Joshua Williams and son-in-law, Jackie Pack.

Norma was a devoted mother who loved her family deeply.  She was a member of the New Beginning Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda Pack of Chatsworth, GA, Rosie Williams of Cohutta, GA, Robin and Tony Black of Calhoun, GA, Tammy and Randy Guy of LaFayette, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Reverend Junior and Arricia Williams of Lafayette, GA, Joe and Jeanie Williams, Dewayne Williams, Hank and Gail Williams all of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyle and Barbara Lethcoe, Jerral and Faye Lethcoe and James Lethcoe; sisters and brother-in-law, Glenor and Lawrence Greenlee and Shirley Jones all of Tellico Plains, TN; special friends, Hazel Dominick, Poncho and Tonya Dale, Paul and Jeanie Bunch and Isom and Lexis Sloan; twenty-eight grandchildren, fifty-four great grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Norma Glenda Williams will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the New Beginning Baptist Church, 331 Hwy. 201, LaFayette, GA, 30728, with her son, Reverend Junior Williams and her grandson, John Everett officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Cohutta, Georgia, with Tyler Arnold, Isom Sloan, Daniel Dale, Justin Bartley, David Pack and Caleb Pack honored to serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at New Beginning Baptist Church after 5:00 p.m. Friday until the service hour.
