Mrs. Norma Jean Massingill, age 71, of Lindale, Georgia passed away Wednesday May 25, 2022, at her residence. She was born October 5, 1950 in Winchester, TN. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Brown, mother Lurine Wilkey, fist husband, Norman Massingill, second husband, Russell Massingill, brother, Jerry Brown.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Massingill and Mary Patterson of Calhoun, GA, John and Melissa Massingill, Jerry and Nancy Massingill of Plainville, GA; daughters, Rita Massingill, Denise Massingill, Tina Massingill of Calhoun, GA; brother, Billy Brown of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobby and John Redd of Taylorsville, GA, Sadie and Richard Henson, Otsy Fowler of Calhoun, GA; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Norma Jean Massingill will be held Monday May 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel. Interment will follow in the Crane Eater Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
