Mrs. Nina Welch Cochran, age 79, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, September 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 17, 1941 in Murray County GA a daughter of the late Millard and Eunice Blassingame Welch. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cochran, brothers, Raymond and Gerald Welch, brother-in-law, Melvin Henderson.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Hall Quillan and husband Allen; son, Bryant Cochran and his wife Tonya; grandchildren, Erika, Derrick and Haven Sanford all of Chatsworth, GA, Colby Cochran of Athens, GA, Garrison and Gracie Cochran of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Sharrah Welch Henderson of Chatsworth, GA; brother-in-law, Gary Cochran and wife Sally; sister-in-law, Colleen Cochran of Dalton, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Louise Johnston; sister-in-law, Joanne Welch of Chatsworth, GA, Carol Welch of Williamsburg, VA; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, and church family. The family wants to give a special thanks to her great caregivers, Brenda Jones, Colleen Cochran, Tammy Dalton, Carrie Stillwell and Hospice of Chattanooga.

At her request there will be no services. A private family burial will be in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.
