Mrs. Nancy Ann Pierce, age 70, of Dalton, GA, passed away Tuesday July 6, 2021 at the local hospital. She was born July 10, 1950 in Dalton, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, John Oliver Duckworth, mother, Delia Land Wimpy, sister, Jane Wimpy.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Cecil Pierce of the residence; son, Johnny Pierce; daughter, Lori Pierce of Dalton, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, David Oliver Duckworth, Ronnie Duckworth of Dalton, GA, Calvin and fostene Wimpy of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Hayley, Brandon, Natalie and Amber Chortkoff; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Nancy Ann Pierce will be held Tuesday July 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Denny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
