Mrs. Myona Mahan, age 84, of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, March 24, 2024, at Advent Health Redmond Hospital in Rome, Georgia. She was born January 31, 1940 in Canton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Pink and Colene Hulsey Rampley. She was also preceded in death by a son James Clyde Mahan, grandson Nathan Mahan, brothers Alford and Ervin Rampley, sister Elsie Lee Hancock.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Larry Mahan of the residence; son, Michael Mahan of Fairmount, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Yademer and Lewis Lomax of Dalton, GA; great grandchildren, Alexis Mahan and Gabby Franklin, James Mahan, Kolman Davis.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Myona Mahan will be held Friday March 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Fairmount Chapel. Interment will follow in the Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery with Gabby Franklin, Dakota Southerland, Doug McDaniel, Brent McDaniel, Scotty Childers and Timothy Shipman serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
