Miss Monica Maleah Green, age 47, of Sugar Valley, Georgia, departed this life Saturday afternoon at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Monica was born October 8, 1976, in Dalton, Georgia.  She was a 1995 graduate of Gordon Central High School

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Junior "Big J" Green, and her grandparents, George and Daffie Faulkenberry and Ralph and Nannie Green.

She is survived by her mother, Jane Faulkenberry Green of the residence; her beloved little yorkie, Liam Jay; daughter and son-in-law, Keri and Anthony Hamrick of Calhoun, GA; special friend, Lesa Reece of Sugar Valley, GA; several cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Miss Monica Maleah Green will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Sugar Valley Church of God with Reverend Joey Henderson and Reverend Duaine Shadix officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her father at the church cemetery with Jimmy Faulkenberry, Kevin Shadix, Wade Bell, Brandon Grubbs, Anthony Hamrick and Wade Reece honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Sugar Valley Church of God from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
