Mrs. Mona Elaine Key Trentham age 67, of Dalton, GA, was received in Heaven Friday, July 9, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. She was born May 13, 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Grady Alfred Key and Ethel Cordelia Davenport Key. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Neil Trentham, grandsons, Keyson Phillips, Kolby Trentham.

She is survived by her beloved daughters and son-in-law, Tiana and Nicholas Christianson of Dalton, GA, Teiya Eubanks of Johnson City, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Gary McDonough of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Hagan and Adrian Torres, Ashlyn and John Schlicht, Braden Smith; great grandchildren, Jayden, Elliason, Aiden, Lilliana; niece and nephews, Eric Jenkins, Geran Jenkins, Darice Gentry, Ken Holmes, Rodney Holmes, Marc Holmes; sisters-in-law, Sherry Holmes and Beverly Trentham; several great nieces and nephews.

Mona was a loving mother and grandmother (Nana) that relished time with her precious grandchildren. She was fun loving, creative and a wonderful seamstress. She was in love with her sweet furbaby dog Sedona "Donie". She was an avid cat lover also.

Services to celebrate the life of Mona will be held Monday July 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with her nephew Eric Jenkins officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Braden Smith, Coleman Jenkins, Chase Jenkins, Hunter Jenkins, Heath Jenkins, Geran Jenkins, John Schlicht, Adrian Torres and Eric Jenkins serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
