Mr. Mitchell Brian Jennings, age 47, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Mitchell was born November 12, 1969 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kasey Nicole Jennings, aunt, Donna Gravitt Bolton, grandparents, Henry and Minna Blanche Babb Jennings, Harry Gravitt and Lizzie Lee Beach.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kaila Jennings and Christopher Kitts; granddaughter, Payton Marie Jennings of Dalton, GA; parents, Danny and Kaye Jennings of Cohutta, GA; aunts and uncles, Janet Keeler of Chatsworth, GA, Gale and Danny Mitchell, Dale and David Bagby of Rocky Face, GA, Lisa Huey Gibbons of Manhattan, KS, Robert and Robin Huey of Sacramento, CA; cousin, Kevin Roberts of Resaca, GA; special friend, Rocky Faulkner of Dalton, GA.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Mitchell Brian Jennings will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Ponders Melrose Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Alton Carter and Reverend Phillips Gentry officiating He will be laid to rest with his family at the Dug Gap Baptist Church Cemetery with Rocky Faulkner, Damien Hamilton, LaFrandin Minchew, Dusty Biester, Tyrone Gazaway, Tracy Shelton and Jim Castellano serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the family for expenses.
