Mrs. Mildred Amelia Rogers, age 83 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Friday September 10, 2021 at Advent Gordon Hospital. She was born September 28, 1937 in Lookout Mountain, GA, a daughter of the late Carl Henry and Ethel Pace Daniels. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Rogers, daughter, Cathy Rogers, brothers, Floyd Daniels, Clifford Daniels, Carles Daniels; sisters, Vennia Harmon, Lorene Flood.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles Rogers of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Camilla Jeffery, Randy Rogers of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Randy Cross of Rocky Face, GA; brother, Gene Daniels of Chattanooga Valley, GA; sisters, Delaphine Lempkey of New Mexico, Sylvia Cohen of Chattanooga Valley, GA, Eunice Greathouse of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mildred Rogers will be held Saturday October 2, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Raymond Neal and Randy Deal officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday. She will be laid to rest at the Antioch Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family request everyone wear a mask while at visitation and services.
