Mrs. Mildred Kathleen Muse, age 89, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life, Monday, March 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1932 in Cohutta, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Louie Muse of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Perry and Nila Muse of Johnson City, TN, David and Peggy Muse of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Richard Lane of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Sarah and Brad Zinsmeister, Charista and Jerry Vineyard, Shane and Monica Muse, Jeremy Muse, Alanna and Cory Rupert, Jessie and Kelsey Korpp; 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Saturday March 19, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Richard Lane officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
