Mrs. Mildred Kathyrn Coley, age 89, of Dalton, GA., departed this life, Wednesday April 13, 2016 at the Ridgewood Manor surrounded by her loving family. Mildred was born September 28, 1926 in Lewallen, KY, and has been a member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly for 74 years. A daughter of the late Ballard and Louvernia Massingill Walker Sr.. She was also preceded in death by her husband Melvin Coley Sr., her 3 brothers, Paul , J.C. and Claude Walker, and 3 sisters, Onilee Haun, Juanita Sexton and Norma Haun..

She is survived by her; sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Deborah Coley Jr of Rossville, GA, Dennis and Sandra Coley of Rocky Face, GA, Thomas and Geneva Coley of LaFayette, GA, Jesse and Mary Coley of Dawnville, GA. She is also survived by her brothers; Ballard Walker Jr. and Dennis (Moe) Walker both of Knoxville, TN. Mildred has 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mildred Coley will be held Saturday April 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of God of the Union Assembly with Reverend Charlie Pratt and Reverend Lonnie Starnes officiating. Deacons of the Church will serve as pall bearers. She will be laid to rest at the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
