Mr. Michael Arthur "Mike" Taylor, age 64, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, November 15, 2020, at his home.  Mike was born August 19, 1956 in Campbell County, Tennessee, a son of the late, Alvy Arthur and Emily Reba Perkins Taylor.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Earlene Serritt Taylor, and his brother, Vaughn "Bud" Taylor.  Mike worked in construction and with Chastain Concrete for many years.

He loved to fish and spend time with his grandkids and family.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Amber Taylor of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Aizik Taylor, Emily Taylor, Brandie Taylor, Brody Russell, Brayden Russell; step-children, Trac and Derek Bussey of Stockbridge, GA, and Josh and Scarlet Hales of Calhoun, GA; step-grandchildren, Tyler Barnhardt, Chase Barnhardt, Joshua Hales, Justin Hales and Jayce Hales; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Ronald Strunk of Lake  City, TN, and Kathy and Tony Rose of Upton, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon, November 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Slusher Cemetery in Rockholds, Kentucky, with Reverend James Roaden officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel, (675 Jolly Rd., Calhoun, GA, 30701) Wednesday evening, November 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
