Mr. Michael Preston "Mikey" Poole, age 30, departed this life, Friday January 29, 2016 at his home. Mikey was born, May 19, 1985 in Calhoun, GA. He was the son of the late Billy Max Poole, a loving father to his son, Preston Nakota Cash Poole, who passed on September 2, 2014; grandfather, D.M. Gregory. Mikey was a graduate of Cedar Valley Christian Academy and attended Amazing Grace Church.

Mr. Michael Preston "Mikey" Poole is survived by his mother, Linda Dianne Gregory Poole; brothers, Nick Poole and Dewey Poole, both of Calhoun, GA; grandmother, Martha Faye Gregory; cousins, Angie and Matt Shoemaker and Daxton Shoemaker; nephew, Garrett Poole; nieces, Kayden Poole, Kaylie Poole, McKinley Ward and special friend, Ashley Thomason and many special friends and family.

The service to celebrate the life of Mr. Michael Preston "Mikey" Poole will be held, Friday February 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Brackett Ridge Memorial Gardens, with Matt Shoemaker, Daren McFarland, Cliff Morgan, Michael Cline, Michael Southerland, Jamie Benson, Jake Gregory, B.J. Gregory, Dewayne Gregory and Jeremy Gregory serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends, Thursday February 4, 2016 at Ponders Calhoun Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
