Mr. Michael Lee Mock, age 33, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday evening, June 27, 2013 at the Murray Medical Center in Chatsworth, Georgia. Michael was born September 30, 1979 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kaitlin Leigh Mock, June 9, 2005 and a grandmother, Margie "Tad Pole" Overby, June 21, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Tabitha Mock; children, Kadie Ann Mock, Emma Jaden Mock, Krista Mock and Jordan Mock; mother, Patricia Ann Rainey; father, Mike Mock; step-mothers, Neise Cornette and Louise Cox; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Debbie Mock; step-sisters, Brenda Williamson, Sandra Lang and Jennifer Lemay; grandmother, Beth Pratt; sister-in-law, April Chadwick; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Michael Lee Mock will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel. He will be laid to rest with his beloved Little Kaitlin at the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Brandon Moore, Josh Mull, Joseph Shutley, James Krincek, Jason Meeks and Derreck Bias serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour.
