Mr. Michael James Dudley, age 22, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, March 23, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Michael was born January 17, 1992 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Tabitha McAtee; sons, Cayden James Wayne Dudley, Lane Hamilton and one on the way, Xander Cason Dudley; mother and step-father, Angela and David Newton all of Chatsworth, GA; father, Ernest Dudley of Adairsville, GA; brothers, James Dudley of Adairsville, GA, Joey Farrell of Calhoun, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Stephanie and Daniel Miller, Angel Marie Dudley, Amber Tucker and Jamie Brown of Chatsworth, GA; grandparents, Sherry Kelsay, Charles Long both of Chatsworth, GA, James Holland of Calhoun, GA; step-grandparents, Grady Newton and Mary Newton both of Chatsworth, GA; uncles, Henry Newton, James Gregg Holland and Johnny Maddox; aunt, Kimberly Maddox; several cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Michael James Dudley will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Clayton Brown officiating. He will be laid to rest at Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Cameron Prince, James Holland, Charles Long, Kenneth Burchfield, Henry Newton, David Newton and Johnny Maddox serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the service hour.
