Mr. Michael Anthony Cronan, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Michael was born on August 27, 1966, in Chatsworth, Georgia. He was a proud graduate of Southeast High School, Class of 1984. Throughout his career, Michael demonstrated strong leadership and dedication, serving as the former Executive Vice President of Master Touch Carpet and most recently as a Director at Tantus Floor Coverings, Inc.

Michael will be remembered most for his loyal heart and steadfast devotion to the people in his life. He never met a stranger—his warmth and genuine kindness made everyone feel like a lifelong friend. Michael's compassion, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty earned him the deep respect and love of all who knew him. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Grant Cronan and Dessie Ray Cronan Brambett, and Troy Raymond and Louise Smith.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jarred and Hannah Cronan; grandson, Rome Thomas Cronan; parents, Reverend Frank and Barbara Smith Cronan; sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Keith Paige; nieces and nephew, Shanda Crider, Shaylen Paige and Christian Howard; aunts and uncles, Ruby Brackett, Quinn and Ruby Smith, and Betty and Steve Buck; as well as several cousins and many devoted friends who will deeply miss his friendship and light.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Michael Anthony Cronan will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel, with his father, Reverend Frank Cronan, Reverend Timmy Parker, and Reverend Michael Lane officiating. He will be laid to rest at Center Valley Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Lane, Jarred Cronan, Ethan Knight, Randy Jackson, Reverend Timmy Parker, and Brian Keith.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Friday after 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
