Mr. Michael Wayne Byers, age 44 of Dalton, Ga. passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born October 28, 1968 in Dalton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his fathers, John Wayne Byers and Jerry Mullins.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina Byers; mother, Rose Mullins; sons and daughters-in-law, C.J. and Selena Byers, Javin and Brittany Byers, grandchildren, Blakilee Byers, Kaydence Byers, Kyler Byers; brother and sister-in-law, Dewayne and Wendy Miller all of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Adam Williams of Resaca, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Charlotte Phillips; brother-in-law, Terry Phillips all of Dalton, GA several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Michael Wayne Byers will be held Monday May 27, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Eddie Killion and Pastor Jeff Vess officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Monday. In lieu of flower the family request donations be made to help with expenses.
