Ms. Mercedes Rosa Reyes , age 59, of Stockbridge, Georgia, and formerly of Dalton, Georgia,  departed this life Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Piedmond Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Mercy was born June 30, 1962 in Miami, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto Perez and Ada Rita Rubio, and her adoptive mother, Livo Torres.

She is survived by her children, Natacia Reyes of Chattanooga, TN, Adrian Reyes and Oscar Reyes both of Dalton, GA; sisters, Gina Santiago of Pheniox, AZ, Michell Peppers of Chandler, AZ, Maritza Jasso of Calhoun, GA, Cristina Rubio of Blairsville, GA, and Carmina Rubio of Atlanta, GA; her beloved dogs, Giselle and Mademoiselle and several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Mercedes Rosa "Mercy" Reyes will be held Sunday evening, July 18, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Ponders Calhoun, Chapel, (675 Jolly Rd., Calhoun, GA, 30701).  The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel after 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 until the service hour.
