Mr. Matthew Rondale Applewhite, age 36, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, September 14, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle-truck accident. Matthew was born May 25, 1979 in Jackson, Mississippi. He is survived by his parents, Carolyn and Fred McGruder, M.C. Applewhite; son, Montrevious Applewhite all of Jackson, MS; daughter, Malaya Sistrunk; fianc, Cheon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eric and Adrienne Applewhite all of Dalton, GA, Tony and Aquilla Applewhite; sister and brother-in-law, Kristie and Anthony Perry all of Columbia, SC; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Matthew Rondale Applewhite will be held Saturday September 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Jerry Davis officiating.
