Mrs. Mary Faye Tatum Jones, age 79 of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life, Thursday December 5, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Faye was born December 7, 1933 in Gordon County, GA, a daughter of the late Reverend Don and Mamie Woody Tatum. Faye was also preceded in death by her Husband James "J.F." Jones, brothers; Reverend Edward Tatum and Jimmy Tatum, and a sister Elizabeth Smith.

Faye is survived by her daughter and son in law; Cathy and Doug Talley of Calhoun Georgia, Brothers and sisters in law; Reverend Bobby and Maudie Tatum of Brunswick, Georgia, Reverend Bill and Coleen Tatum of Kingston, Georgia and Reverend Travis and Kathy Tatum of Knoxville, Tennessee. Special mention to Brody and Brock Parker who held a special place in her heart. Several Nieces and nephews also survived.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Faye Tatum Jones will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday December 7, 2013 at the East Calhoun Church of God with Reverend Keith Reid officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Haven of Rest Cemetery with Claude Allen, Steve Swably, Kirk Allen, Kevin Allen, Aubrey Tatum and Ron Tatum serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel, Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00pm.
