Mrs. Mary Kathy Spencer, age 61, of Resaca, Georgia departed this life, Wednesday morning January 17, 2024, at the local hospital. She was born March 28, 1962 in Yakima, Washington, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ida Mae Byrd.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Spencer of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Kassy and Scoey Swafford of Calhoun, GA, Ida Bellof Resaca, GA, Ashley and Greg Lewis of Chickamauga, GA; brothers, Tommy Byrd, Cyrus Byrd, Jeff Byrd all of Kentucky; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Ricky Burchfield of Virginia, Tammy Byrd, Amy and Jason Lyons of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
