Mary Lois Spell, age 76, of Cartersville, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Mary was born December 27, 1936 in Douglas, Georgia, a daughter of the late Ira and Aline Walls Gaff. She was also preceded in death by her sister Ellen Gaff.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law Teresa and Tony McBride of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren: Olivia McBride, William McBride, Charlotte McBride and Kelli Fuson. Lois is also survived by brothers and sisters in law: Wendell and Lynn Gaff of Perry, Georgia and Leon and Judy Gaff of Douglas, Georgia. She is also survived by her special friend Linda Sorrels of Dennis, Mass.

Services to celebrate the life of Mary Lois Spell will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Bishop Alan Miller officiating.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel, Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour service on Saturday.
